ROCKSoft Online Affiliate Program FAQ:
| What is the ROCKSoft Online Affiliate Program? Think of this affiliate program like an Ant Colony. We have the Queen represented by ROCKSoft Online and a full bunch of ant armies represented by you, our affiliate members. The armies finds way to bring food to the colony, and the queen shares portion of the food back to the armies. The more food a specific army sent back to the colony, the more share are given back by the queen to that ant. Simpy put, our Affiliate Program is not a banner exchange but rather a commission based system. An interested person joins our affiliate program and becomes our affiliate member. He/She then displays our links thru banners in his own website (blogs, friendster, multiply, myspace, etc...), email or forum signatures, or simple html/bb code links. And when someone clicks that link and eventually buys an item (and paid for it), our affiliate system can track who recommended that buyer. And we will give commission to that affiliate member. As member of our affiliate program you can log-in to our affiliate system software and you can track website clicks (or where the clicks are coming from if you have many posted links/banners). This way you can also determine how effective your referral links are working for you. |
| I am not from the Philippines, can I still join? Technincally yes, you can be anywhere in the world and be a part of our affiliate program. The only requirement we need is you must have a Philippine based BPI or BDO account or have a contact here in the Philippines to pickup the commission payments on your behalf. Also note, that your target audience for your referral links must be Philippine based only as we currently do not sell outside of the Philippines. |
| How does the Affiliate Program work? Using Cookies system in our online shop and together with our Affiliate System Software, we can detect where a customer was referred from. As member of our affiliate program, you will be assigned a special code to use in your web links so that when people are referred by you, our system will automatically know it was you who referred the customer to us and in return we will credit your account the commission generated for that sales. All the banners and codes you will need will be available for your usage when you log-in to your account via our Affiliate System Software. Once log-in to our Affiliate System Software, you can also track all the website clicks that your referral links are generating. |
| Is there a fee to Join? It's absolutely free to join our affiliate program. However, due to a limited slots that our system can currently handle, we will have to manually approve all members who wants to join. We will give preference to those who have their own website like friendster, multiply, myspace, active blogger, persons who likes to write articles or reviews, actively participates in forums, and are active in buy and sell sites. Also, since our affiliate membership slots are limited, and in the event it becomes full and we found out that you are inactive for quite some time, we may also opt to remove you from our members so we can give way to new members who would like to try and join. |
| Will there be a quota or target referral sales? Once you become a member of our Affiliate Program, we will not impose any quota or target sales requirement. Earn anytime or earn nothing at all. It's all up to you. (but see Q&A above for possible membership termination) |
| I don't have my own website? Can I still join your Affiliate Program? Yes, anyone can be an affiliate. You just need to be creative and find places to put your unique referral links, such as in emails to your friends, write an online article, write an online product review, create online classifieds, direct links via html or bb codes via forum postings or forum signatures. |
| How much commission can I earn? How do I get paid? As member of our Affiliate Program, you will earn 2.5% of the total product order value (not including the shipping costs). For example, if a customer referred by you makes an order and paid for it amounting to Php 5000.00, you will earn a commission of Php 125.00 You can be a our affiliate forever, and there is no limit to the amount of money you can make from commissions. |
| How do I get paid from my earned commisions? You need to earn at least Php 200.00 in commissions before we can pay you. We will pay you by depositing the amount directly to your bank account. Right now, we can only deposit the payment to either BPI or BDO only. If you don't have an account with BPI or BDO, we can arrange payment for pickup. Once you have at least Php 200.00, you can email us to request for payment and we will deposit the payment to your account within 5 working days. Same goes for payment for pickup. |
How can I promote my referral links effectively?
Some sample usage tips: Instead of simply referring our site using simple text (no links) e.g. Visit www.rocksoftonline.com You can use html hyperlinks or BB codes instead so the reader can just click to visit the site, without even knowing your referral link is embedded in the code. Sample BB Code used in Forums: Sample HTML Code used in websites: where ??? is your 3 digit affiliate number. You can also link directly to a specific page (e.g., DS Lite Pokemon Housing) using the code as shown below: Sample HTML Code with direct linking to specific product: again, where ??? is your 3 digit affiliate number. |
| Can I purchase direct through my own affiliate link? Sure, why not. You just make an order via your own referral link, pay for the item. and we will credit the commission generated to your affiliate account. Think of this as your personal 2.5% discount simply for being our affiliate member. |
| I have some ideas that will make your affiliate system better, can I request or share it with you? Yes, we are open to your ideas. Tell us about it, and if our afffiliate system software can handle it, we may be able to accomodate your request. For starters, you can even create your own banner images and use your referral codes with it. You can even share your banners with us, and we might even put it up to be available for use with other affiliate members. |
